And the Nominees Are…

Last week was crazy busy, but in the mix of all that I got some great news! The first was that I was nominated for Best New Author Category by the Building Relationships Around Books (BRAB) book club. I was surprised and humbled by the nomination. This is a super supportive book club that has lots of fun interaction with readers and authors.  I’ve been introduced to some great “new to me” authors, and my TBR pile has increased significantly since I joined. Now it’s up to the members of the group to vote on their favorite in each category.

Later in the week I found out my second book, Worth the Wait, was nominated in the Book Junkies Choice awards for best book in a series! The way this works is readers and authors can nominate their favorite book. The books with the most nominations make it to the finals and the winner chosen from there. You don’t have to be a member of the website to nominate, so feel free to continue to nominate Worth the Wait in this contest!

My fingers are crossed in both, but really, I’m just happy that someone thought to nominate me in the first place. I’ve only been at this for a year, and knowing that people are connecting with my stories means a lot to me.
